Theresa is the Team Rector in Bicester with pastoral responsibility for St Edburg’s Church, Bicester and St Laurence in Caversfield. She has worked in Bicester since the beginning of 2008 and has been ordained since 1992. Theresa is married to John who is an engineer and they have two grown up children.

Theresa is passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and is very much enjoying living in Bicester.

Revd Margaret Mullins

Team Vicar

St Peter’s Church, Bucknell; St Mary’s Church, Launton

After a varied teaching career, Margaret trained for ministry at Salisbury and Wells Theological College. She served her curacy at St Mary’s with St Paul’s in Bishopstoke, nr Winchester and came to Bicester as the first woman priest in the team in 1998.

She has primary responsibility for the churches in Launton and Bucknell and is chaplain to the Bicester Community Hospital.

She and husband Chris have three grown-up children and three grandchildren.

Revd Chris Boyce

Team Vicar

Emmanuel Church, Bicester

Chris became a Christian in his last year at school and trained as an architect, subsequently working in London, Papua New Guinea, Nigeria, Jersey and Eastbourne. He was accepted to train for the ministry in 1984 and has been involved in parishes in Eastbourne and Merseyside.

He is married to Lyn they have two children and three grandchildren.

Currently he is involved in the adventure of helping to start a church from scratch in Bicester.

Revd Bob Atkins

Assistant Priest

Bob is a non-stipendiary priest licenced to the Bicester Team. He is married to Sherry and they have four grown up children. Bob’s ministry covers all the churches of the team, but he has special responsibility for St Laurence, Caversfield.

Bob currently works full time as Treasurer of Thames Valley Police Authority.

Colin Cockshaw

Licensed Lay Minister

Colin is married to Freddie and they have two adult daughters. He is a professional town planner and has also worked as a Mission Adviser for USPG and is Chair of Christian Concern for One World, which provides information and resources for Christians and churches on issues such as Fair Trade, Poverty and Climate Change.

Mary Roe

Licensed Lay Minister

St Edburg’s Church, Bicester

Mary is the widow of Gordon Roe, a former Bishop of Huntingdon. She read theology as a mature student and has since taught in secondary schools, as a tutor for ordinands and lay readers in training and been an adviser to church schools in the Ely Diocese.

She is chairman of the Anglican Pacifist Fellowship and a member of the Council of the Modern Churchpeople’s Union.

She has four adult children and 10 grandchildren.
