Our Mission

St Edburg’s Church is the parish church of the town of Bicester, in the Church of England Diocese of Oxford, in the Province of Canterbury.

The church provides the community with weekly services and opportunity for prayer, as well as a venue for baptisms, weddings and funerals as the community requires, and with the consent of the Rector.

As well as being the Christian centre of the town, it is also the pastoral centre, providing space for social groups to meet and enjoy each other’s company in the name of a charitable cause, or simply as a service to the community as a whole.

We enjoy friendly relationships with all the churches in Bicester.
