St George’s Day Service

The Bicester Area Scouts held their St George’s Day service this year at St Edburg’s.

Love Bicester finishes

St Edburg’s has been very pleased to participate in Love Bicester, which was a community programme for all the churches in Bicester to promote a new spirit of mission and faith in all of the Christians of Bicester.

St Edburg’s was the venue for a number of exciting events during the two weeks of Love Bicester – we saw daily lunches with talks from Revd Canon Dr Michael Green on a whole range of subjects which culminated in the Palm Sunday service celebrated with the Rt Revd Stephen Cottrell, the Bishop of Reading (and soon to be Bishop of Chelmsford).

Many thanks to all who participated and enjoyed the events of Love Bicester, and we pray for continued good relations between all of the different denominations in Bicester.
