Our Services

St Edburg’s has a broad range of services that are directed towards those of different ages and preferences.  The most important services held during the week are the celebration of the Eucharist, which is Holy Communion.  Holy Communion is the coming together of the whole Christian community in the celebration of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. It is a solemn remembrance, but also a celebration, and a way of giving thanks to the Lord for his gift of love to us all.

All are welcome at every Holy Communion, although if you’re new or haven’t visited for a long time, you might want to come to to one of the family-oriented services where there is a more modern, less formal approach with music and fun for everyone, as well as some quiet moments for reflection and prayer.
